This is the first free trade agreement signed between China and a Central and Eastern European country and the 22nd free trade agreement signed by China. Serbia has become China’s 29th free trade partner.

With the Certificate of Origin Form for China-Serbia FTA, almost all trade between China and Serbia are duty-free (i.e. zero tariff).
